Yering Station 'Village' Yarra Valley
Pinot Noir, 2010
Australia Red
Yarra Valley 75cl
Buy a case for £173.20 (£14.43 per bottle)
As mentioned with the Chardonnay this is the rebadged regular Pinot Noir, now called village. Below is Little Yering, above Reserve.
This 2010 is absolutely delicious. Selected parcels are aged in new and used French oak barriques.
It's really perfumed, with raspberry, strawberry, mulberry, plum and spice with some toasty oak notes too.
Medium bodied with lovely sweet varietal fruit, raspberry and black cherry fruit bursting out the glass, with spice, toasty oak and good acidity, long finish too. It's everything you want a mid priced new world Pinot to be, i love it!! Drink now and over the next 5 years.
