An intriguing blend of Carignan 40%, Grenache 40% and then a mix of Cabernet, Merlot and Tempranillo to make up the blend. Have been reminded again and again recently that a lot of customers seem to be fixated on mono varietal wines but would you paint a picture with one colour or cook a recipe with one ingredient ?
Deep bruise purple colour with a brighter red hue. A really inviting super soft fruit cake nose it's really quite Rioja in style. Medium bodied but very fruit driven , with the 12 months in oak (mix of French and American) adding just a pinch of seasoning.
Plum, prune, fig are all evident on a deliciously soft and juicy palate capped with a yummy vanilla oak finish . Tasty
