Boca do Monte means 'mouth of the mountain', a reference to an impressive tunnel carved out of the rocks by the Romans in the 2nd century, the vineyards are planted on the bank of the river, and they defie rock and gravity to make this wine.
Quite perfumed on the nose with citrus and peach, quite floral too.
Dry and tangy with ripe pear and apple, some grapey notes and hints of peach too. It's quite soft, but fresh and crisp enough to be really appealing and refreshing. Tangy with lovely fruit anmd a crisp clean finish, nice to try wines that are not all about acidity, more delicate in style.
