The excellent San Felice winery are making some excellent wines, most notably their Brunello, but this is a really attractive Chianti Classico. Made from Sangiovese, Colorino and Pugnitello. Attractive cherry with dried herbs, a touch of meat and forest floor too on the nose. Medium bodied with bright cherry fruit, again herbs and just a hint of meat, but really it's about the lovely bright cherry and morello chery fruit, the tannins are ripe and this is a lovely fruit forward style of Chianti Classico. Huge drinkability! Bargain price to at c£12 for a Chianti Classico of this quality.
