I don't try enough Savennieres as it's a wine i like a lot when good such as this.
Ripe apple and pear with a touch of honey and hints of custard powder on the nose. It's really quite weighty with lovely ripe apple and pear on the palate a touch of peach too, tangy with lots of extract, fresh honey,with a long finish showing gentle spice and a touch of bees wax. Sure this type of wine is very food friendly too, and will undoubtedly age well too. Very good.
