An organic Cabernet Franc with a quirky label.
Expecting the worst or at least something green and backward I was very pleasantly surprised.
An inviting almost creamy nose of lifted red fruits led to a pretty soft and generous mouth full of more tasty red cherry and and a hint of raspberry too. Despite the wealth of fruit there was structure and a bit of backbone but nothing green or stalky that can often come with Cab. Franc. A good summer slurper that could easily take a light chill on a warm day.
