The 2009 was sold as a Grauburgunder and was delicious, this is even better. From old vine (Alte Reben) Pinot Gris, lovely zesty nose with stone fruits and citrus zest, grapefruit too with a touch of spice.
It's really pure and clean, tangy and fresh with pineapple and grapefruit with stone fruits and really crisp limey acidity. Minerally on a long finish, with a hint of spice. It's really delicious and would make a great food wine.
