We sold these wines years ago, and had not seen them for 10+ years until i holidayed in Sicily, and we have been missing something!
Blend of in decreasing amounts: Inzolia, Grecanico, Catarratto. Lovely fresh perfumed grapey nose with hints of stone fruit and citrus too, ripe apple and pear drop also. Really tangy and fresh on the palate, clean and pure with grape, ripe pear, stone fruit and citrus with gentle spice. It tastes just off-dry and is a great drinking wine but also delicious with fresh fish and seafood pasta dishes.
