Paolo Leo Primitivo di Manduria
, 2010
Italy Red
Puglia 75cl
From 40 year old vines grown around the vtown of Sava in the heart of Salento. Aged 6 months in French oak barriques.
Dense black cherry, raspberry and hints of raisin. Really sweet and bright with black cherry, plum and chocolate. Lots of spice too and some toasty french oak, just a touch of raisin but the overall feel is of a really full bodied, juicy quite fresh wine. It's really very impressive, lovely long finish.
