This is a wine from Loire maestro Francois Chidaine. From the region of Bullas near to Jumilla. It's a typical ripe, full flavoured wine. 60% Monastrell and 40% Temprnaillo. Really quite perfumed witrh red and black cherry, plum and spice. It's really bright and juicy with powerful and ripe red and black fruits, spice and pepper too. Quite meaty but also just a touch raisiny on the finish, showing it's warm climate origins. With the right food this would be really good, but if not just a touch rasiny and alcoholic.
