We are looking at a range of the wines from Herencia Altés. This is a single vineyard wine made from Grenache and Syrah. It's certainly a notch above the perfectly tasty straight Grenache (Garnatxa). Bright red berry fruits with pepper and spice on the nose. It's a lovely juicy vibrant style that tastes unoaked. Raspberry and white pepper meet black cherry, with spice and some meaty savoury undertones. Was a perfect match to a quality lamb burger this evening, it's got really delicious bright fruit and is a lovely drink young style.
