Another fine effort from Ashbrook Estate. Despite weighing in at 15% alcohol this is very well balanced. Bright red berry fruits with spice and a hint of oak on the nose. Similar on the palate, bright, ripe red berry fruits to the fore, some plum too with savoury spice and cedar with ripe tannins. The fruit sweetness becomes very forest floor like and this is a complex red just hitting it's stride.
