A very different beast to the opulent, rich 2009. This is a more classic Pinot, lighter with more acidity. Perfumed nose with raspberry and cranberry, it's young with bright raspberry fruit, good acidity to. It tastes very youthful, and is far more Burgundian than the 2009, it clearly needs some time. Great with food but a touch tight on it's own. Be interesting to see how this newly arrived wine develops.
