A little scary at first, not quite night black in colour but pretty deep. It's muscular and all about black cherry and almost verging on black olive too.
Unsurprisingly was tempered by food and mellowed to a more approachable drink
Have preserved and drunk over three or four days and it's perfectly fine.
Tough work for everyday drinking
