This is a special release single vineyard, a selection of the best parcels and kept separate from other lots. Lovely fruit on the nose, peach and citrus with nutty toasty oak. Lovely fresh palate with bright stone fruits, nutty and toasty, creamy long and minerally with good acidity. It's 14.5% alcohol but you would never know. Lovely, long and complex, really classy Chardonnay of great balance length and interest. Really delicious drink over the next 5 years. Noel May
Sample; we've been long-term fans of the Stonier wines, and this is the pinnacle of their Chardonnay's; a gorgeous nose of toasty oak, peach, minerals and nuts leads to a rich, classy and pretty full-on palate. Quite rich and gelatinous (not a criticism!) on the mouth with bags of fruit, nuts, minerals, oak...I could go on but I'm just going to finish the bottle thanks! Daniel August
