Legaris Rueda
Verdejo, 2011
Spain White
Rueda 75cl
The second release from Legaris. This is a lovely fresh Rueda made from Verdejo, it's screwcapped and most tasty. I find a lot of Verdejo to be overly herbaceous and having a 'sweaty' character. This has lovely fresh citrus, green apple and white peach on the nose with delicate herbaceous chracters. Crisp and fresh on the palate, ripe citrus with a hint pineapple, red apple and white peach, it's zesty with good acidity. Really well made and whilst still in the 'Sauvignon Blanc' style of white wine it's rounder with riper fruit. Great value too.
