De Pennautier
Viognier, 2010
France Provence & Regional White
Pays d'Oc 75cl
A Top 100 IGP wine in 2011. It's a really attractive wine, the more i drink Viognier the more i realise it should not be too cold. Straight out the bottle it was fine, 10 mins in the glass and it blossoms. Attractive peach and apricot, touch of blossom and citrus on the nose. It's crisp, which i really like, at this level i am not looking for Condrieu, lovely stone fruits with a touch of spice, honeysuckle and good acidity. Quite weighty and tangy and a really delicious drop.
