Vin de Pays des Portes de la Méditerrannée 75cl
From just outside Cotes du Luberon. This is a blend of 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 10% Carignan. Made with minimal intervention and unfiltered. Deep in colour, rich, powerful nose black cherry, meat, spice and a touch of raisin. Really powerful and rich, lovely deep plum and black cherry with lots of spice and pepper, a touch of liqourice too, it's big and really a food style, yet the tannins are ripe. Sweet and savoury and high quality. Drink over the next 2-5 years.
