Some rich cassis on the nose, with ripe cherry and berry and just a touch of oak. It's medium to full bodied with nice sweet fruit, good acidity- quite marked and integrated oak. The wine has soft tannins. It's perfectly pleasant but lacks anything to stand out from the crowd, a bit more fruit definition would have helped...
