The Chardonnay Select is aged in in large wooden vats and 500lt French oak barrels. It's a fresher lighter example than more recent examples. Honeyed stone fruits, and subtle oak, hints of brioche, on the nose. It's fresh and tangy on the palate with stone fruits and a mealy almost savoury character. It's an enjoyable wine but tastes older than it is. It's good with balanced acidity and quality oak,but not as exceptional as previous vintages.
