Jamie has already written a note on the good Merlot. This is the Muscat. Not the most varietal of noses with hints of grape, citrus, spice and almond, touch cheeesey too. It's off-dry with some peachy citrus with really tangy acidity. Some varietal grape and spice too. The acidity is slightly out of kilter with the wine, but it's a decent enough drink. Fresh and crisp, spicy and just lacking a little balance. However if just given a cool glass of it i would find it really quite pleasant. It needs a bit more focus and a slightly cleaner finish.
