This is a top quality Chardonnay from David Ramey. I have enjoyed several previous Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay's and this is yet another superb wine. Ripe citrus, honey, nutty french oak, white peach and brioche on an inviting nose. It's bright and fresh with great acidity, young for sure with lovely ripe lemon fruit, nectarine and toasty, nutty oak. Long and complex, it seriously delicious now, but the best is yet to come. This will build texture and palate weight, it's very fresh and youthful at this stage, shows enormous potential.
