A blend of Grenache and syrah from 20 year old vines grown on limestne, sand and 'galets roules'- pudding stones like in Chateauneuf. Bright juicy fruit on the nose with garrigue and liquorice. Bright on the palate too with crunchy fruit, red berries, white pepper and hint of black pepper/liquorice. It's vibrant and easy drinking yet retains some structure and depth. On a 7 for 6 deal which brings it to £6.95 and is a very good buy at that price.
