We have really liked this unwooded Chenin from Bruno Raats. This is the new 2009 and another excellent release. Spiced pear and ripe apple on the nose. It's crisp and fresh with again spiced pear, apple, melon and hints of citrus. It's quite weighty with good extract. It's a tangy appealing wine that because it's got real body it makes a very versatile food wine.
