A really tasty debut red from Ponte del Diavolo. From Grave in Friuli, attractively perfumed with red berry fruits, a touch of dried herb too. It's bright and juicy, again loads of ripe red fruits, wild strawberry and cherry with a touch of greeness to it which adds another dimension. It's young and really drinkable with soft ripe tannins and good acidity. Just 12.5% and a very impressive well priced debut, would be good with a light chill too.
