A really individual style of Garnacha from Vinas del Vero. From old vines planted 700 metre above sea level. It's a deep dark colour with a meaty, deep, wild nose with spice and dried herbs, iron and dense berry fruits. It's full and rich on the palate, a reall savoury style. Meaty and earthy with liquorice, black pepper, spice and oak, allied to dense plum and black cherry fruit. It has good acidity owing to the high altitue vines. It needs rich food, cassoulet comes to mind, it's a beautiful brooding wine with loads of teroir- herbs minerals and spice.An uncompromising red of real quality and personality.
