Aalto make some great wines and this the 'PS' is i believe their top wine. Lovely nose with really ripe brambly fruit, sweet cassis, roasted meats,spice and plenty of toasty oak. It's big and plush, full of sweet ripe berry fruits. Still a little way off it's peak, but drunk with slow cooked new season lamb it was sublime. Great texture with fabulous fruit, it's opening up all the time, becoming more open on the nose too. It's got a wealth of fruit, again roasted meats and sweet new oak, with good acidity and ripe tannins. It's a voluptuous sexy style. Although it will age i would opt for drinking this over the next 5 years to enjoy the lovely vibrant fruit.
