The first Rioja from Torres. Nicely packaged, made from Tempranillo and aged in oak for 12 months. Red fruits to the fore, meaty with cedary oak, some vanilla and spice on the nose. It's bright and full of plummy fruit, some redcurrant too, nice oak, hints of vanilla and spice. With an £8.99 price point it's another very good wine from Torres, who do make some excellent wines.
