Ad Hoc is another range from the talented Larry Cherubino. A range of wines from different regions. His website only has a Straw Man Semillon Sauvignon, but this is clearly labelled as a Sauvignon Blanc. Whatever it's a very attractive Sauvignon. Cut grass and straw on the nose with citrus fruit and a touch of herbaceousness.
Really fresh on the palate and full of tangy crisp grassy fruit, citrus to the fore and really good acidity. It's mouthwatering, and really dry. Really clean and pure, if you like oysters i reckon this would be a fabulous match.
