Bridgewater Mill is made at Petaluma and is a stand alone brand with fruit coming from their Adelaide Hills vineyards. The brand has been totally revamped with smart, striking new packaging. I was most impressed with the wines at the Australia Day tasting in London late in January. This Pinot Grigio is much more Gris in style, it even has a pronounced pink hue. Classic stone fruits and ripe melon on the nose with a touch of spice. It's fresh and crisp with lovely ripe stone fruits, again melon, with ripe red apple and citrus. Good acidity makes it clean and refreshing yet their is real palate weight. Really very good- drink over the next 12-18 months to get it at it's vivacious best.
