I tasted the 2007 of this recently and it was excellent. This 2006 is looking really good too. aged in French oak. Bright cherry, plum a hint of raspberry with subtle spice and oak on the nose. It's a savoury style with berry fruits, spice and oak, good acidity and soft tannins. Oak is subtle and gives a gentle creaminess. The fruit is possibly more European in weight and style. It's got some grip, but overall is a delicious spicy, savoury Pinot and well priced.
