This Shiraz comes from a 100 year old vineyard near Greenock. Green harvested to 1.5 tonnes to the acre. Aged in new French oak. Attractive nose with ripe black cherry, cassis, prune and plum with toasty oak. It's full rich and sweet with lovely fruit. Dense black cherry and cassis with red fruits too, spice, pepper and creamy oak. It's a big, rich full bodied wine that is voluptuous and quite delicious and lovely now, but is sure to age in the medium term. High class.
