Opawa is a new 'value' range made by Nautilus but marketed as a stand alone brand. Hand picked grapes are cold soaked for 7 days the juice is then wild fermented. Ripe plum and cherry on the nose, raspberry, clove, hints of oak too.
It's quite a ripe style with big plum and cherry flavours, spice too and a hint of slightly charry oak. It's bright and juicy though with good acidity, at around £8.99 it represents very good value.
