A lovely old vine Grenache majoring on fruit and spice with oak in the background. Bright berry fruits on the nose with a touch of seasoned oak, and classic white pepper. Bright juicy berry fruits on the palate. Cherry, plum and raspberry, lots of spice and white pepper with fresh acidity. Has a touch of malt bread and raisin, but everything is fresh and in keeping. Should age well over the next 5-7 years, all round an attractive pakage that shows real regional identity.
