A long term shop favourite the 'Lodge Hill' offers great fruit and great value. The new 2007 is no exception. A lovely perfumed nose wth black cherry, blackberry, cinnamon spice, mocha and liquorice. It's dense and really juicy with bright black fruits and lively red berry too. Chocolate and spice with raspberry, oak, black pepper, good acidity and ripe tannins. Hints of regional mint too, the whole is a mouthfilling juicy rich spicy red. Delicious!
