Castel De Paolis Frascati Superiore
Not tried a Frascati in a while, and certainly not one as good as this organic example. Made from Malvasia di Candia, Malvasia del Lazio, Bombino Bianco, Trebbiano Toscano. Rich, honeyed nose with ripe pear and hints of stone fruit. It's got real weight and depth. Full of ripe pear with apricot and nectarine fruits, some citrus acidity and gentle spice too. It's very good and way different to supermarket Frascati...! Good length too.
