Givry Blanc 1er Cru 'Petit Marole' Domaine Francois Lumpp
France Burgundy White
I have long liked the Chalonnaise wines from Lumpp. Classic honeyed citrus and stone fruit nose with a touch of nutty oak. It's fresh and tangy with lovely honeyed citrus fruit, almost a hint of orange/tandarine with nutty oak and a long nutty minerally finish. Still young and will age well. Prices though are creeping up and whilst quality is not in doubt, it's no longer a real value.
