Deliciously drinkable style from a producer we haven't stocked for ages.
It's dry but not face puckeringly tight and the aromatics aren't so intense that you're left reeling from the kerosine reek. It has all the typical Alsatian attributes and is very long and clean with a nice pencil lead mineral character too. Very good and the beauty was that as it was balanced and not a 'show stopper' tasting syle it was easy to drink the bottle rather than one intense glass.
