This wine won a Decanter Trophy at last years awards and the 2005 has won the International Wine Challenge Gruner Veltliner trophy. It's an impressive wine. A really perfumed nose with honey, stone fruits, passion fruit and spice. On the palate it's tangy and fresh. Really honeyed and full of lime and stone fruits. Just off-dry. It's fresh and crisp with really good weight. Lively and clean. May have a touch of botrytised fruit. Good acidity and drinking really well now, though sure to age over the next 5 years. Very good.
