The Willows Vineyard 'Seven JG'
Barossa Valley 75cl
An impressive new release. The seventh generation Scholz brothers have made this wine in honour of founder 'JG' Scholz who founded the land now known as Willows in 1845. A basket pressed Grenache Shiraz. Lovely creamy nose with bright red and black berry fruit. Some spice and pepper too. It's big and rich and silky smooth. Lovely intense sweet berry and cherry fruit with a lovely creamy oak envelope. Spicy and dense with the merest hint of eucalypt mint. Delicious and sure to age well over the next 3-5 years.
