The top of the tree at Rolf Binder wines. A small production wine from old vineyards. Lovely nose of plums, black cherry, chocolate and spice. It's really rich and dense and surprisingly more open than the other 2005 reds, though has a fair whack of tannin on the finish..
Lots of sweet plum and black cherry with spice and toasty oak. Luscious, sweet and full, this is seriously impressive Shiraz that will age beautifully. Great length and persistence.
