An impressive Bordeaux blend. Cassis, plum, meat nad tobacco on a ripe cedary nose. It's bright and juicy with lovely cherry and plum with a touch of cedar. It's really quite approachable with ripe fruit, soft tannin and a touch of oak. I like these good New Zealand reds as they are a great crossover from Europe to the New world. Well priced with bags of flavour. It's clearly young but has plenty of potential.
