We really enjoyed a similar blend from Pikes that was under their 'Luccio' label last Summer/Autumn. This is a very similar type of wine with the emphasis on drinkability. Packed with soft red fruit flavours and no jammy sweetness this is a real glugger and terribly easy to empty the bottle quickly. For immediate enjoyment on a medium bodied scale this is hard to beat. I think this is actually cheaper than the Luccio red ... probably therfore rendering that wine redundant !
