A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon. Terra Burdigala is a project involving several quality growers to market under this umbrella. The styles are modern as is the fairly unpleasent packaging! However it's a delicious wine. Fresh nettle and grass with some citrus and green pea on the nose. It's crisp and green on the palate with again nettle and lots of citrus fruit. Hints of pea and blackcurrant. It's got good weight and is not too crisp yet is refreshing and pure. It's a really well made Bordeaux with lots of fruit. Refreshing and with god length yet having palate weight that stops it being simple. Very good.
