Selected Winners 2011

I really like this competition and over the 3-4 years that we have been following it we have unearthed some great wines that have become mainstays of our list and real customer favourites.
It's a well run competition headed up by the estimable Tim Atkin MW. On Tuesday this week I tasted all 116 of the award winning wines. It was as ever a really interesting tasting with some very high quality wines.
From this tasting I have made our selection, many were wines we already carry, and there are some brand new wines. I did not like everything, that is always the way but in general it's a really worthwhile competition.
Of particular note is our fantastic value mixed case offering 12 different wines from 11 different regions all for just £9 a bottle. Please see the Mixed Cases Summer 2011 section for that case.

All the other wines are available individually through the wine list or by the case of 12 (6 in some instances) at a special offer price.

Is there a minimum order?

No, but delivery charges may apply, so we recommend that you order at least one full case. Orders from the Wine List must be of minimum value £150.00 to qualify for free delivery. 'Per case' delivery charges apply to Mixed Cases, New Releases and Special Offers.

Why aren't all wines for sale online?

We offer selected wines from our list for sale online, so that we can be sure of availability for quick delivery. Wines without a 'buy now' link can be purchased by contacting us.
